Unmistakable resemblance PUMN & PUMA

In its opposition decision at the beginning of February this year, EUIPO put an end to this Chinese logo. Opponent Puma won the case hands down. Not counting the horizontal stripe in the letter A, the words are practically identical in design, according to EUIPO. Add a black feline creature jumping from right to left, and you have a trademark that bears a close resemblance to the world-famous Puma logo. Well, the Chinese tried their best to copy Puma. It’s time for PUMN to move on; they don’t get trademark protection in Europe.
