Will Trump turn 250?
In early March 2026, DTTM Operations, the organization that manages Trump’s trademark rights, registered several marks linked to the 250-year US celebration. The most striking is the logo TRUMP 250. It almost suggests that it’s not the US, but Donald himself turning 250 this summer! He has also filed trademark applications for two logos depicting five fighter jets, alongside the names TRUMP and TRUMP 250, in connection with the celebration.
A strategic combination
The trademarks have been filed for typical merchandise products: from bumper stickers to T-shirts, and from mugs to golf balls. Based on these registrations, Trump can grant lucrative licenses for the use of these logos. In this way, the anniversary celebrations provide an opportunity to combine a nationally significant event with branded merchandise linked to his name. A TRUMP 250 bumper sticker: the perfect combination of commerce and self-promotion.
