Denys Bertels

Denys has been an European Trademark Attorney at Chiever since 2019 and has been in the business for over 20 years. In her position, she is primarily concerned with the worldwide brand protection of her clients, mainly medium and large-sized companies. This conducts oppositions and negotiations with third parties about brands that are similar to the brands of her clients. Her extensive network of colleagues abroad is very useful! Denys is a certified Trademark Attorney and a certified BMM (Benelux Association of Trademark and Design Law) Attorney, having successfully passed the BMM professional examination. The BMM certification mark gives companies the assurance that attorneys have the knowledge, training and experience required to competently advise on trademark protection. Denys lives close to the beach and can be found there every week from spring. So she has no lack of fresh, beachy air! A few of her children even work there in some restaurants, so that’s very handy.
